Spoken Wor:l:ds is a literary exchange project between poets and rappers from Nairobi and Berlin. The project is about the artistic encounter, working on translations, new texts and performative forms between rap and poetry.
The meetings, workshops, readings and concerts in the context of the project were captured on camera by the filmmakers CitéNOIR in both metropolises. The documentation now celebrates its premiere at the ZEBRA Poetry Film Festival. Camera, editing, direction: CitéNOIR; music: Akira.
